Theseus Lost: a Networked Narrative
Welcome to Theseus Lost, an illustrated, networked-novel. The aim of this project is to explore traditional literary values and new approaches to writing in electronic environments.
Prototype
This a conceptual prototype (proof of concept), so please be forgiving of design flaws, spelling mistakes, broken links, unspecified weirdness and the many "under construction" and/or un-themed pages. This site is best viewed in Firefox.
Eventually, I aim to implement many funky features to help orient readers within the text: including a pop-out bookmark, history, and various "proscribed readings".
Structure
Theseus Lost is a collection of three "books", forming an interlinked narrative, or hypertext.
Links from each page lead you to connections between chapters/episodes/issues and characters or settings in other parts of the narrative.
